Faith Ann (Yonas) Detwiler, 68, wife of the late Samuel Wayne Detwiler, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at her home in Douglassville.
Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late George and Olga (Wolk) Yonas.
Faith was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. She enjoyed nature and being outside. Her biggest accomplishment in life was her family. Faith loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. In her spare time, Faith enjoyed shopping and baking cookies around Christmas time.
Surviving is her daughter Justine Donnelly, wife of Harry; son Samuel Detwiler, husband of Shelly; son Timothy Detwiler, husband of Kathy; sister Theresa Lytle, wife of the late Thomas; sister Olga Hall, wife of the late Arthur; brother John Yonas; brother Nicholas Yonas, husband of Kristine; sister Chirstine Schantz, wife of Leonard; and sister Mary Nimmerichter, wife of Todd Kulp; grandchildren Carrissa Donnelly, Riley Donnelly, Alexander Detwiler, Adrianna Detwiler, Skylynn Detwiler, and Sebastian Detwiler; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter Veronica Detwiler; sister Lubow Kozak; brother George Yonas; brother Michael Yonas; and brother Joseph Yonas.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 11:00AM at Catagnus Funeral Home (329 N. Lewis Rd., Royersford, PA 19468) with Pastor Christian Hicks officiating. Burial will be held privately by the family. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 9:30AM-11:00AM at the funeral home.
