Ruth E. Rupert, 96

Ruth E. (Strohm) Rupert, 96, of Pottstown, wife of the late Robert L. Rupert of 71 years, passed away Saturday August 17, 2024 at the Pottstown Hospital.

Born in Linfield, she was the daughter of the late William and Caroline (Gauger) Strohm.

Ruth was formerly a member of Parker Ford Church of the Brethren where she volunteered for many years.

Surviving is her son Robert L. Rupert Jr. husband of Barbara; and grandson Collin N. Rupert.

Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son Raymond Rupert; brothers William Strohm Jr. and Grant Strohm; and sisters Elizabeth Essick and Mary Jane Gisenger.

Funeral services will be private.

This dear woman loved Jesus, and loved others so well. She loved to sing and now she can sing her heart out with the heavenly choir.

I had the pleasure to sing with Mrs. Rupert for many many years in the choir along with Mr. Rupert as well. She was such a special lady with alot of wisdom and love of Christ.
My blessings to the family and friends at this time. I will forever cherish our talks and those special choir times!
