Robert “Bob” Leslie Morgan, 85, husband of Eileen Marie (Spanninger) Morgan, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23, 2024, surrounded by oved ones at Phoenixville Hospital.
Born in Portage, PA, he was the son of the late Charles and Leona (McDonald) Morgan.
Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also liked to go bowling and shoot archery. Bob was a big fan of Western Movies, especially John Wayne Movies. He was known as a jokester and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Surviving along with his wife Eileen, of 59 years, is his only daughter Beth Damon, wife of Paul; sister Gladys Costello, wife of the late Al; a cousin Roberta Gillet wife of Don. Bob was lucky enough to have 4 grandchildren: Aaron Sigley, Luke Carey, Abby Carey, and Jacob Damon. Bob also had 2 great granddaughters Alexis (Lexi) Sigley and Paige Moore; and many nieces and nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his brother John Morgan; brother Bruce Morgan; and his sister Kathy Morgan Hoopes and by 2 brother-in-laws Alan (Brudder) Costello and David Hoopes, Sr.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Catagnus Funeral Home (595 W. Main St., Trappe, PA 19426). Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date. A viewing will also be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM at the funeral home.
