Dorothy E. (Shephard) Harder, 83, of Royersford, formerly of West Norriton, wife of Harry C. Harder, Jr., passed away Sunday September 1, 2024 at the Phoenixville Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia Pa she was the daughter of the late Thompson and Dorothy (Glaum) Shephard.
Dorothy excelled in athletics in High School. She lettered in four sports and later in life became a talented golfer. She cherished spending time with her family and friends. Dorothy will be fondly remembered as an overwhelmingly kind person to everyone she encountered.
Surviving along with her husband is her sons Jeffrey Harder husband of Urella and Dave Harder; daughter Kathryn Carney wife of Bryan; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Saturday September 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church, 600 Walker Rd., Wayne, PA 19087. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30-10:45 AM at the Church.
