Jean L. (Stouch) Korbel, 97, wife of the late Joseph A. Korbel, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at her home in Exeter.
Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Lester Stouch and Helen (Brendlinger) Stouch.
Jean was the last of 9 children. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking for her family, and taking her grandchildren camping.
Surviving is her daughter Angeline Lauer, wife of Rudy; son Joseph C. Korbel, husband of Jean Korbel; daughter Susan Phillips; and daughter Lizabeth Wagenurst; 17 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son Stephen Korbel.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 12:00PM at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Pottstown. A luncheon will follow at Angie’s house.
