Sandra “Sandy” I. Shultz, 81

Sandra “Sandy” I. (Clevenstine) Shultz, 81, of Pottstown, East Coventry Township, wife of the late Walter S. Shultz, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Fairlane Gardens.

Born in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mellis (Shantz) Clevenstine.

Sandy liked embroidering, and doing word search puzzles. She also enjoyed baking and was a longtime active member of Bethel UMC. Her family was most important to her. Sandy loved lighthouses and traveling to Maine with her husband, Walter. She also enjoyed her time at Glacier National Park.

Surviving is her son Scott Crawford; son Dennis Crawford, husband of Faith; daughter Jennifer Yergey, wife of Robert; son Jason Shultz, partner of Jamie Eastwood; sister Marsha Warnock, wife of Arthur; stepsister Joan Miller, wife of Harold; sister-in-law Virginia Gaudiello, wife of the late Thomas Gaudiella; sister-in-law Kay Bachkai, wife of Joseph Bachkai; grandchildren Elizabeth, Denny, Julia, Xander, Gabe, EvaMarie, Louis Walter; great grandchildren Rosalie and Wesley; niece Rebecca Warnock. She is predeceased by her parents Mellis (Shantz) and Paul Clevenstine, step father James Henry, mother and father in-laws Joseph and Virginia (Fry) Shultz; sister Barbara Clevenstine; brother-in-law Thomas Gaudiello; and nephew Christopher Warnock.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 1:00PM at Bethel United Methodist Church (952 Bethel Church Rd, Spring City, PA 19475) with Pastor John Keretzman officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel UMC Cemetery. A viewing will also be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 12:00PM-1:00PM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel UMC in Sandra’s name.

Sandy was kind-hearted & a dear friend of mine for 20 years. We stayed in touch throughout those years. When I moved out of PA, we didn't get to see each other but spoke on the phone when possible. My sincere condolences go out to her family.
