Lindsay Brooke Spengler, 40

Lindsay Brooke Spengler, 40, of Spring City, passed away Wednesday October 2, 2024 at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia.

Lindsay was born in Charlottesville, VA. She was the daughter of Michael Douglas and Sharon (Augustine) Spengler.

Lindsay loved Jesus, her family and people. Lindsay enjoyed family gatherings, gardening, being outdoors, cooking and sports. She was a talented athlete. Her sport of choice was softball, and played throughout high school and in several competitive leagues. Lindsay had quite the competitive streak whether playing softball or board games. She loved the Phillies and the Eagles and was knowledgeable in both.

Surviving along with her parents are her brothers Mark Spengler (Jill) and Andy Spengler (Amanda) and seven loving nieces and nephews Mazie, Grady, Michael, (Mark) Chase, Paige, Aubrey, and Cole (Andy).

VISITATION : Friends will be received on Sunday October 6, 2024 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Ltd., 329 N. Lewis Rd., Royersford, PA 19468.

FUNERAL services will be held Monday October 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Spring City Regeneration Church, 45 N. Church St., Spring City, PA 19475.

Burial will follow at Limerick Garden of Memories.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lindsay’s memory to Spring City Regeneration Church, 45 N. Church St., Spring City, PA 19475.

We were so saddened to hear that Lindsay had passed. We remember her in school with our children and how great an athlete she was. Sending prayers and deep condolences.

Mike and Sharon,
Barb and I just heard of the loss of Lindsay. We will pray that the Holy Spirit will comfort you, Mark, Andy, and their families. The loss of a child must be gut wrenching for a parent. That is why Barb and I will think about you often and pray for the Holy Spirit to strengthen you at this dire time of need.
