Paul R. Barr, 69, husband of Deborah Ann (Ruf) Barr, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Pottstown Hospital.
Born in Conshohocken, he was the son of the late Robert and Pearl (Kateusz) Barr.
Paul was a big Dallas Cowboys fan. He worked at Markel Inc. for 48 years. He was a devoted family man who dedicated his life to his family. He also enjoyed cooking.
Surviving along with his wife, Deborah of 47 years, is his daughter Christina Shillinger, wife of Scott; son Paul Barr Jr.; daughter Nicole Fulton, wife of Jacob; brother Lester Barr, husband of Kathy; sister Judy Perlstein, wife of Murray; brother David Barr, husband of Lynn; grandchildren Troy Shillinger, Katlyn Barr, Ryan Shillinger, and Aaliyah Middleton. He is predeceased by his brother George Barr.
Services will be held by the family at a later date.
