Constance “Connie” Myers, 58

Constance “Connie” Josefine (Swank) Myers, 58, wife of Scott Allen Myers, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Reading Hospital.

Born in (August 1966), she was the daughter of Richard L. Swank and the late Josefine (Span) Swank.

She adored spending time with her husband, Scott and their dog, Cordelia “Cordi”, and loved to go on “Picnic hikes” on the trail with them on nice weekends. Connie was a voracious reader; oftentimes reading 2-3 books at a time. She enjoyed cooking and hosting friends and family, as well as going out for good street food or fine dining. She and her husband, Scott, enjoyed playing board games and doing puzzles with their friends. Connie also adored spoiling her great nieces and nephews, and looked forward to her daily phone chats with her Niece, Nicole and Sister-in-law, Jennifer.

Connie playfully considered herself a “Hedge Witch”, and Bonnie’s “Witches Tea” was an annual event she looked forward to each year. Connie enjoyed painting, and different crafts, and was a skilled “Thrifter”.

Surviving along with her husband Scott of 36 years, is her sister Mary Christine Andrews, wife of John; brother Richie Swank; niece Nicole Wheeland, wife of Jason; nephew James Andrews; nephew John Timothy Andrews; great nephews Blake Wheeland and Colson Andrews, and great niece Morgan Wheeland.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 9:00AM-11:00AM at Catagnus Funeral Home (711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464). A time of sharing remembrances will follow at 11:00AM.

I'm sorry to hear about Connie passing away so early in life. I got news today, about her funeral this morning. I miss Connie, but I know she is no longer restricted to the physical vessel she possessed, and she is now free to experience whatever comes next. For now Connie will be stay alive in our memories, until death brings us back together again.

My sister-in-law Connie was a beautiful light that was put out way too soon. I along with anyone who knew her, will miss her terriblely.
