Matthew Craig McMenamin, 58

Born in Montgomery County, PA, on May 5, 1966, he was the son of the late Daniel and Ella McMenamin.

Matt was a printer by trade, where he built a reputation over 40 years. His favorite pastimes included supporting Notre Dame football and taking trips to South Bend with family for games, watching Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, and Wings games, spending the day at the Philadelphia Zoo, and listening to the Grateful Dead.

He is survived by his three children, Joshua, Nicholas (Brooke), and Jacob McMenamin, their mother, Mary Beth McMenamin, grandson, Brantley McMenamin, soon-to-be grandson, Dean McMenamin, siblings, Christine Dembicki (Bruce), Brian McMenamin (Annemarie), Stephen McMenamin (Debbie), Sean McMenamin (Mary Ann), Linda McMenamin, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday November 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC., 1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, PA 19525. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30-10:45 AM at the funeral home.

My deepest condolences to Matt’s family. He was a strong leader -tough on the outside with a soft and kind inner soul. He asked for the best from those he led, and offered the best of himself. The world lost a great man. His family is fortunate to have all those good memories to sustain them. May peace be with you.
