Senora Fietta Bartholomew, 81

Senora Fietta (May) Bartholomew, 81, of Telford, PA, wife of David Donald Bartholomew, entered her heavenly home on October 30th surrounded by her family. She finished her journey with a strong faith in Jesus Christ. She never stopped being a bold witness for her faith and was an inspiration to those around her.

Born in Camden, New Jersey on April 4, 1943, Senora was the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Senora (Stevens) May. She was a 1961 high school graduate, began her working years in her grandfather’s deli, and later became a banking professional specializing in mortgages. She enjoyed many years as a client stylist with Macy’s but returned to banking as a Head Teller at Univest until her retirement.

Senora was a member of Renew Bible Church in Perkasie, PA where she could worship her Lord and Savior openly. She loved to sing and provided many ‘free’ concerts to her family and friends. Don and Senora had a heart for children and taught Sunday School for many years, developing their own curriculum from their study of the Bible. She was a proud graduate of Calvary Baptist Church’s Bible Institute sharing nuggets of knowledge gained through her courses with others.

Senora’s greatest joys in life were her family and her love for Jesus. She was a prayer warrior for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her face would light up with weekly visits from the youngest family members and she was a gracious encourager.

Senora is survived by her husband of 60 years; daughters Robin, wife of Leonard Burgess, Rachel, wife of Wesley Richardson, and Sarah, wife of Nicholas Patrone, as well as a son, David, husband of Lori (Groff) Bartholomew; 8 grandchildren, Christopher (Karstie) Burgess, Tristan (Morgan) Burgess, Jessica (Steve) George, Allison (Curtis) Diehl, Alexander Patrone, Roman Patrone, Nathan Bartholomew, and Noah Bartholomew; and 5 great-grandchildren: Arriana George, Kaiden and Harper Diehl, Lillian Burgess, and Rhys Burgess. She is survived by two sisters and two brothers: Hannah, wife of the late James Settelen; Florence, wife of the late John Harris; Ellsworth May, fiancé of Susan Leone, and Robert May, husband of Cindy. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and was predeceased by her parents and sister, Lucenda Kines.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home, 329 North Lewis Road, Royersford, PA 19468, with Pastor Jon Hodnett from Renew Bible Church officiating.
