I was lucky and honored to call her mom for so many years. She and Rex will always have a special place in my heart. They accepted me into their family, and I always enjoyed time spent there. Mom was such a good person who loved having her little ones around her. I used to drop off Alli and Jenni before work when Nancy and I both had careers, and we needed some help with the girls. When I would return at the end of the day to take them home, I would walk in and find one, or both, standing on the stool at the kitchen sink either helping to wash dishes or just playing in the water. Other times I'd walk in and find them baking something. Mom was always smiling when the kids were around. She was a peaceful woman and just an absolute love to be with. She lived a wonderful life with Rex by her side. And, if you didn't know, she was an incredible dancer! Whenever we'd go to the Jack O Lantern, we would witness the nimbleness and ease with which they commanded the dance floor. Both were wonderful people, wonderful parents, grandparents and friends to so many. I know mom missed dad very much and I'm very happy she left here in peace in her sleep. She is now back with Rex and I'm sure they are both showing others there how to dance to the old-time swing. My heart goes out to you all. Let your hearts be full of the life and love that Marion wished for all.
