Stanley Thomas Gamble, 73

Stanley Thomas Gamble, 73, devoted husband of Joanne (Nan), passed away peacefully on November 7, 2024 at his home in South Coventry, PA. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Sharon Hill, he was the son of the late Herbert and Dorothy Gamble. Stan is survived by his son Kevin, daughter Kelly, and daughter Julia (Ryan) as well as by his beloved grandchildren Chase, Taylor, Kaitlin, Lauren, Ethan, and Luke. He is also survived by his brother Victor and his sister Eileen (Maitland).

Stan was a dedicated employee of Exelon Corporation with over 40 years of service as a nuclear engineer. Much of his career was spent at Limerick Generating Station.

Stan’s favorite past times included watching Penn State football, the Eagles, and the Phillies. He loved music and had a vast collection of CDs. Music was always playing on the many speakers around his house, at the pool, and in his red 1984 Z28 Camaro. He was an avid exercise enthusiast and quite the handyman, even designing and building a large deck off of his home that his family enjoyed for many gatherings. Some of Stan’s happiest times were spent engaging with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed annual trips to Ocean City and Stone Harbor, NJ and The Outer Banks, NC. He was known to always have a camera or video camera in hand to capture all of the memories that his family will now be able to cherish for many years to come.

At Stan’s request, there will be no public service.

Stan was a good guy and dang good athlete. The Gamble family brought me to their inn in Wildwood Crest when I was 15. Worked at hamburger place with Stan and Victor most of the summer. I was treated by Stan and family wonderfully.May Stan Rest in Peace and condolences to Stan's friends and family.
