Schwenksville, PA — Louise C. (Dente) deHaan, age 85, of Schwenksville, PA, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Phoenixville Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert N. deHaan.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Louise was the daughter of the late Angelo and Josephine (Halka) Dente. A loving mother and grandmother, she will be deeply missed by her son, Robert deHaan, and his wife Tara, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Christopher and Michael deHaan. Louise is also survived by her cousin, Laura Pashko, and many beloved family members and friends who fondly remember her warmth and kindness. She was predeceased by her brother, Francis "Frank" Dente.
Louise led a life full of love for her family and enjoyment of life's simple pleasures. She was a regular at bingo halls, enjoyed cruising, and found comfort in knitting and crocheting. In her downtime, she could be found solving crossword puzzles or watching her favorite game shows. She was a source of joy to those who knew her, and she will be remembered for her generous spirit and her unwavering devotion to her family.
A Memorial Mass to celebrate Louise's life will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 11:00 AM at St. Teresa of Calcutta Church, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473. Interment will follow at Limerick Garden of Memories. The family will receive visitors from 9:30-10:45 AM in the church chapel prior to the service.
