Domenica Maria (Angelini) Graziani, 93, wife of Alfredo C. Graziani, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at her home in Stowe surrounded by family.
Born in Notaresco, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Sabatino and Maddalena (DiCrescenzo) Angelini.
Maria was the matriarch of her family who helped to raise generations of loved ones. As the eldest daughter of eight children, she cared for her younger siblings, nieces, and nephews in Italy. As a mother and grandmother, Maria lovingly raised three generations of children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren in America. She was passionate about family and tradition, sharing her hospitality and love through her phenomenal cooking and entertainment. Friends and family could stop by anytime and expect a warm greeting and a place at her table. Deeply devoted to her faith and the Catholic Church, Maria was a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary in Stowe for many years and was a long-time member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Parish in Stowe. As an Italian immigrant, she shared her life with a close community of Italian friends, godchildren, and neighbors, who were like family to her. Maria will always be remembered for her strength, sense of humor, and great advice.
Surviving along with her husband, Alfredo of 69 years, is her daughter Philomena Flowers, wife of James; son Vincent Graziani, husband of Elizabeth Mills; daughter Luisa DeSimone, wife of Salvatore; sister Rina Angelini; grandchildren Jennifer Stercula, wife of Jeff Siti, Kassandra McEvoy, wife of Arthur, Joseph DeSimone, Cristian DeSimone, Isabella DeSimone, and Marc DeSimone; great grandchildren Ivan McEvoy, Theo Siti, and Weston McEvoy. She is predeceased by 6 siblings.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at St Gabriel's Catholic Church (127 Jefferson St, Stowe, PA 19464) with Fr. Wilson officiating. Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date. A viewing will also be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 10:00AM-11:30AM at the church.
