Sandra "Sandy" Smith, 80

Sandra Fay (McLaughlin) Smith, 80, wife of the late Raymond Smith, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at her home in Boyertown.

Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Arline (Seeders) McLaughlin.

Sandy enjoyed going to the casino and playing scratch offs. She loved boating, shopping, and going to their beach house in Leisure Point in Long Neck, Delaware. Sandy was known as a very generous person; always giving to those in need. She was a very dedicated, hard worker throughout her career and formed many lasting relationships at her work. Sandy also loved traveling, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, and watching game shows. She adored her grand dogs and the time she spent with them.

Surviving are her children Theresa Smith, Edward Reigel, husband of Jennifer; Brenda Solomon, wife of Joseph; and Beverly Fetterman, wife of LeRoy; sisters Patricia Loudis, Phyllis Berkey, Barbara Herb, wife of Bruce; and Roxanne Donofrio, wife of H. Richard; grandchildren Alexander, Rebecca, Rochelle, Andrew, Lindsey, Allison, Christa, Ashlynn, and Emily and 8 great grandchildren.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Sandy’s name.

My deepest Sympathy to Bev, Leroy, and family. I never met Sandy but heard so much about her from Bev. They shared so many wonderful family times together. Blessings & prayers to all of Sandy’s family. Very sorry for your loss.

Mom, I am so glad we got to take those special trips in the last 2 years after pop passed. We have so many great memories. I love you so much and I will miss you.
