Thomas Kenyon Woody, III, 78, of Gilbertsville, husband of Patricia (Neeser) Woody, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Monday December 9, 2024 at his residence.

Born in Wilmington, NC, he was the son of the late Thomas Kenyon Jr. and Grace (DuVal) Woody. Son of a Baptist minister, he was a Vietnam veteran and loved his life of civil service.

Surviving along with his wife are his daughters Kelly Megay and Danielle White, and his sister Peggy Schumann.

Thomas loved spending time with his grandchildren Gracen, Nolan, Christian and Patrick. He always decorated the house for them and looked forward to hosting Christmas Eve every year.

Thomas donated his body to the University of Pennsylvania hospital to support cancer research. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thomas’ memory to Perelman School of Medicine. If you need assistance directing your gift, please call 215-898-0578 or email uphsgift@upenn.edu.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. A mass will be said in memory of Thomas at St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church in the coming weeks.
