George A. Fronheiser, 87

George A. Fronheiser, 87, of Boyertown, husband of Ellen L. (Conrad) Fronheiser, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Complete Care at Lehigh.

Born in Barto, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Marie (Melcher) Fronheiser.

George was known as “Mr. Fix-it”. He could fix anything with his tools and enjoyed tinkering around in his garage. He was a member of St. Columbkill Roman Catholic Church where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. George was also a life member of Liberty Fire Co. in New Berlinville, where he served as a trustee. George was a devout husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He loved and was devoted to his wife of 65 years until the very end.

Surviving along with his wife are his children Keith Fronheiser husband of Brenda, Nadine Blair wife of Leonard, and Jodie Fronheiser; grandchildren Bradley Houck husband of Tori and Douglas Houck husband of Nicole; great grandchildren Caleb and Charlotte; brother Charles Fronheiser husband of Anna Marie; sister Anna Wary; and many nephews and nieces.

Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Paul, Leo, John, Edwin, Robert, Richard, and Carl Peter Fronheiser.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday December 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Columbkill Roman Catholic Church, 200 Indian Spring Rd., Boyertown, PA 19512. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:00-10:45 AM at the church.
