Betty M. Stoudt, 85

Betty M. (Yusko) Stoudt, 85, of Gilbertsville, wife of William M. Stoudt, Sr., passed away Thursday December 26, 2024 at the Pottstown Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Lichtley) Yusko.

Betty had an infectious personality and made new friends everywhere she went. She loved spending time with her family and had a deep faith in Jesus Christ.

Surviving along with her husband of 67 years, are her sons William M. Stoudt, Jr. fiancée of Trish Clark and Randy Stoudt husband of Dana; daughters Lisa Greenwood wife of Robert and Liza Minner; grandchildren Deana, Brittany, Alysa, Randi, Bethann, Ross, Troy, Paige, and Kylee; great grandchildren James, Lucas, Isaac, Sarah, Addison, Raena, Chase, Logan, Braxton, Easton, Brooklyn, and Carter; brother John “Slim” Yusko; her best friend of many years Bonnie Hart, and close friends of many years; Cindy O’lock, Colleen Galie and Wanda Levengood along with her loving canine companion Lexi.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Ernie and Andrew Yusko and her sister Gloria Porter.

Funeral services will be held Friday January 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Church of the Nazarene, 1045 Beech St., Pottstown, PA 19464. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Pottstown. Visitation will be held Friday from 9:00-10:45 AM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty’s memory to Church of the Nazarene, 1045 Beech St., Pottstown, PA 19464.

I remember Betty as a kid. She was a good communicator to my Grandmother to keep me updated on the rest of the Family. Betty played Bingo well when I am able to attend the Lichtley Family Picnics. Rest in Peace Betty & Thank you for all you did.

Betsy, you will be deeply missed. You were well loved. You sure had some fun times with Doris and Gloria at Aunt Elenor's house in the manor drinking your coffee, playing your card games or joking around with the house full of people who used to be there on weekends. Ms Betsy, I remember meeting you when we went to see Doris at Sanatoga. Center. You had an inviting smile and you made me feel like family give Doris a hug for us. We love you and miss you always!!!

grandmom,

i am lost. i am hurt. and most definitely have a feeling of unreality.
i feel like i need to agree to the terms of you being gone but i do not want too. i had the best grandmothers anyone could ever ask for and in the blink of an eye they are taken from me. i am forever grateful for the laughs, the hugs, 100000 kisses, the jokes… but what i will miss most is the feeling of comfort whenever you’re around, the unconditional love you gave to not only your family but EVERYONE! you will always be an amazing women and i am so glad to call you my grandma. keep smiling and give the lord a hug for us, we need him down here. until we meet again, i love you more??

She was well loved. Such a sweet lady! She was well loved by many of us! She will be missed ?? ?? just shocked God took her quickly! She will be with her sister and Doris Panfile. They the 3 loved drinking coffee and hearing the bs from us young guys. I love you Betsy! May your soul RIP we love ?? you.

Where do I even begin. For the last 30 years you always treated me like one of your own. We laughed, we cried, we joked, but most of all we loved. You definitely had the biggest heart of anyone. Aunt Betsy, thank you for always being a cheerleader. Always supporting my family, whether it was words or girl scout cookies, ha. You loved everyone so very much and your love was so genuine.
