Raymond L. Hatfield, 81, husband of Joan May (Bechtel) Hatfield, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg.
Born in York, PA, he was the son of the late Arnold Hatfield Sr. and Bertha (LaFrance) Hatfield.
Raymond graduated from Pottstown High School, class of ’61. He was a proud Philadelphia police officer for 27 years, retiring at the rank of corporal. The most important part of his life was his family: his wife, his two children, and four granddaughters.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joan; his son Jerrold Hatfield, husband of Sherri; daughter Debrah Wilson, wife of Gregory; grandchildren Allison, Abigail, Olive, and Adelyn.
Services will be held privately by the family.
