Russell J.K. Ovalle (age 64) died peacefully early Saturday morning on January 11th, 2025 at his home in Royersford, PA.
Born in Bryn Mawr, PA. in 1960, he was the youngest son of the late Dr. William K. Ovalle, Sr. and Mercedes Arosemena de Ovalle.
Russell (also known as Russ’ or ‘Russie’) was an avid community volunteer, working with the Salvation Army mostly in their Community Options Program for Persons with Special Needs in Pottstown, PA. and in the surrounding Montgomery County area.
He enjoyed socializing with his many friends, helping out with chores in the Group Homes where he lived, swimming, going to sporting events, competing in the Special Olympics, listening to Country & Western music, dancing, dining out, traveling (with Helping Hands), and going down to the South Jersey Shore. Most of all, he loved and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Surviving are his 3 brothers: William K. Ovalle, Jr. (Robert W. Peck); Nestor K. Ovalle, 2d (Luz), Ralph K. Ovalle (MaryEllen), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
