Marie (Benoit) Harnois, 89, wife of the late Rene Harnois, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Brandywine Senior Living.
Born in Clinton, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Marie Tiola (Savoy) Benoit.
Marie worked at New England Telephone & Telegraph Company for 18 years before becoming a full-time wife and mother. She was a long-time member of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish and their Senior Club. Marie was very active within the Girl Scouts. She was the Girl Scout Cookie Manager for 26 years. Marie lived in Pottstown for 13 years after moving out of Chicopee, Mass. In her down time, Marie enjoyed reading a good book or cooking a delicious meal.
Surviving is her son Rene E. Harnois Jr., husband of Bethany; daughter Christina Personius, wife of Kevin; brother Roger Benoit, husband of the late Janice; grandchildren Allison, Sarah, and Lilianne.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 11:00AM at St. Teresa of Calcutta (256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473). Burial will follow at Limerick Garden of Memories. A viewing will also take place on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the church.
