I first met Kurt back in 1989 or so, through a mutual friend Charlie Long during the glory days of the Commodore 64. While we didn't get to spend a lot of time together given our schedules, the times we did get together was always intellectually stimulating and enjoyable. You will be missed my friend.

I worked with Kurt at Forte Systems and Vis.align way back in the last millennium. We both started our careers there and I recall him as quiet but funny, with a bit of an impish twinkle in his eye, and reliably professional, polite, kind, ethical and helpful. I would have gladly worked with him again in a heartbeat anytime over the last 30-odd years. I'm so sorry for your loss. He will be remembered with great respect and fondness.
