Caleb “Duke” E. Walsh, 37, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at his home in Boyertown.
Born in Pottstown, he was the son of Wayne E. Walsh and Judy R. (Stauffer) Walsh.
Caleb was a 2005 graduate of Oley Valley High School. After high school, he attended Pennsylvania College of Technology, graduating with a degree focused in landscape management and design. Throughout his life, Caleb’s display of grit and determination could be found on the mat, as he was avidly involved in wrestling from grade school through high school. In 2005, he earned and was awarded the Pennsylvania State Silver Medal; quite an admirable feat. He continued to support the sport throughout his post-high school years. Aside from his love of wrestling, Caleb was a big hunter; tagging his last deer as recently as this past fall, and fisherman; teaching his daughters, nieces and nephew to also respect and enjoy the outdoors.
Although the previously mentioned were his passions, his greatest accomplishments and proudest joys were his daughters, Morgan and Harper. He was the most loving and fun father, riding 4-wheelers through the fields and entertaining daughter-designed hairdos. He loved nothing more than watching his daughters excel on the field hockey or softball fields, basketball court, or shooting an arrow right in the bullseye. His determination is reflected in them. He adored spending time with his girls. He was their biggest fan.
His love for his daughters was nearly replicated in the amount of love he had for his nephew and nieces. His respect and gratitude for his family was admirable. And his wit, neatness in character, and spirit were unprecedented.
Surviving along with his parents Wayne and Judy, are his daughters Morgan A. Walsh and Harper J. Walsh; sister Jenna L. Jusits, wife of Mike; brother Jeremy Wayne Walsh, husband of Kelly; nieces and nephew Hannah J. Jusits, Alice M. Jusits, Marcella “Miss Rose” R. Jusits, Cheyenne Marie Walsh, and Trapp Mason Walsh; grandparents Arthur W. Walsh and Jacqueline J. Walsh; and his beloved dog Razor. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandparents William G. Stauffer and Joyce A. Stauffer.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 11:00AM at Trinity Lutheran Church (1749 S Main St, Bechtelsville, PA 19505) with Rev. Eugene Zaiser officiating. Burial will follow at Bechtelsville Union Cemetery. A viewing will also be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 9:00AM-11:00AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Ataxia Foundation (https://www.ataxia.org/) in Caleb’s name.
