Forrest Laverne Heffner Fronheiser, 92

Forrest Laverne Heffner Fronheiser, 92, of Bechtelsville, husband of Rosalie Anne (Brooke) Fronheiser, passed away Wednesday March 5, 2025 at the Reading Hospital.

Born in Bechtelsville, he was the son of the late Paul Fronheiser and Cora (Heffner) Fronheiser Reichert.

Forrest was a graduate of Boyertown High School Class of 1950. He served in the US Navy as a jet mechanic. Forrest then graduated with an Associate’s degree as a Gas & Diesel Mechanic from Williamsport Vocational School in 1958. He was a foreman at C.S. Garber & Sons until 1973. He then started his own business, Passmore Service Center, in December 1973. In 1989 he retired and moved to Columbia County where his cabin was located, and he and Rosalie built a home on the property. He enjoyed many years of hunting. His family cabin in Columbia County was his “happy place”.

Surviving along with his wife are his children Duane Riegner wife of Ronald, Dale Fronheiser husband of Dorothy, Dallas Fronheiser, and Darrin Fronheiser husband of Brenda; grandchildren Lindsey Mason wife of Corey, Troy Riegner husband of Paige, Paige Mulvaney wife of Connor, Drew Fronheiser, Ryan Fronheiser, Jonathan Fronheiser husband of Anastasia, Emily Fronheiser, Andrew Fronheiser, and Sarah Fronheiser; step-grandchildren Kimberly and Jarrod Lloyd; 4 great grandchildren; 4 step-great grandchildren; 2 step-great-great grandchildren; brother John Reichert; and sister Dawn Endy.

Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Vivian Lorish.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. John Hill Church, 620 Hill Church Rd., Boyertown, PA 19512. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9:00-10:45 AM at the church.

Fronheiser fam… my heart mourns with you. I wish I could be in attendance at his funeral to celebrate the life God gave him. Give Rosalie and everyone hugs from me. Forrest was such a joyful man of God who, together with Rosalie, made me feel like family. It was an honor to know him and spend time with him. I love you all.
