James R. Moyer, 84, husband of the late Jeanne M. (Berthold) Moyer, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at his home in Pottstown.
Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Lawrence M. Moyer Jr. and Esther (Birard) Moyer.
Jim proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was a loving father and grandfather. James enjoyed sitting on his porch with his dog at his mountain house enjoying the peace and quiet; and that is how he will be remembered by those who loved him.
Surviving are his children David Moyer (Fran), Michael Moyer Sr. (Carrie), Anthony “Tony” Boore, James “Jim” Moyer Jr. (Tammy), and Theresa “Terri” Konst (Bryan); brother Larry Moyer (Maryanne); 15 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 12:00PM at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Pottstown.
