He always cherished his many friends and extended family who will remember him for being a genuine, sincere person that those close to him could always rely on.

Surviving along with Joan, is his daughter Pamela Nester, and stepsons Tony and Rick Fillman. Also surviving are nieces Debra Millard (Jeffrey) and Lori Pennypacker (George), great niece Brittany Dunlap (Buddy), great nephew Eric Millard (Ashley), and great niece Heather Setley (Jonathan) and their children. He is predeceased by brothers Paul Nester and Irvin Nester.

Add My Condolences

Harry was one of the kindest souls ever. He and Joan were among the first to welcome me to the neighborhood when I moved in across the street. He did little things to help, which were actually a big deal for me, for instance, dragging the giant trash bin back from the street to the house. I felt safe because he was looking out for me and for all his neighbors. I already miss waving to him. Until we meet again, Harry

I was so sorry to hear about Harry's passing. He was a wonderful person; he and my Dad Harry Kulp were friends as well as relatives and Dad always enjoyed getting to spend time talking to Harry. He talked about him often. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. With deepest sympathy. - Rodney Kulp

I was in the office at Universal Machine when I met Harry, but it turns out our lives touched as far back as high school and people we knew in Zieglerville in the 50's and 60's. It is truly amazing when we started talking. Harry is memorable and will be missed.
