Lucille H. (Frey) Moser Bates, 95, formerly of Pottstown, wife of the late John W. Moser and the late James G. Bates, passed away Thursday April 3, 2025 at King of Prussia Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Schwenksville, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Gertrude (Schoenley) Frey. She was also predeceased by her brother Donald Frey.

Lucille graduated from Pottstown High School in 1948 and completed a program at the former Philadelphia School of the Bible.

She worked for the Immanuel Mission school for the Navajo Nation in Teec Nos Pos Arizona from 1949-1950. Lucille taught piano lessons for many years.

Surviving is her son John A. Moser husband of Ellen (Bachman); daughter Rachel (Moser) Gilmore; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

So thankful for the addition of Lucille to our family. She was so supportive in my father's ministry to those in elder care adding so much with her talent playing the piano and providing such wonderful support. Our family will miss her but we are very thankful we, along with my father. had those years with her.
