James F. King, 74, husband of Lillian M. (Wick) King, of Lower Pottsgrove, passed away Saturday April 12, 2025 at his residence.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Francis J. and Veronica A. (Dearden) King.
James was an avid golfer and a phenomenal baseball player. He enjoyed skiing all over the world and proudly accomplished skiing the Alps. James was also a classic rock fan.
Surviving along with his wife is his step-sons Douglas L. Funcke husband of Faith and Eric M. Funcke; granddaughter Ainsley Q. Funcke; sisters Patricia A. Daywalt and Antoinette Kehan wife of James; nephews James Daywalt husband of Susan and James Kehan husband of Nicole; nieces Kelly Dutkiewicz and Patricia A. Daywalt.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Franics “Booty” King.
A memorial service will be held Saturday April 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Ltd., 329 N. Lewis Rd., Royersford, PA 19468. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
