Donna D. Leithmann, 84, of Pottstown, passed away and went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whom she loved on May 12, 2025 at the Reading Hospital. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Joseph P. Leithmann, Jr.
Born in Abington, she was the daughter of the late William Dautel, Jr. and Alice Mervine (Stites) Dautel. Donna was a graduate of Abington High School Class of 1958 and a graduate of Philadelphia College of the Bible Evening School in 1963. She was a long-time member of Valley Forge Baptist Church in Collegeville. In her later years, Donna ministered to many friends and neighbors by providing transportation to doctor appointments and other activities.
Donna is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Leithmann, Laurie Knoebel (Ken), and Susan Batterman (Sam); grandchildren Samantha and Parker Batterman; and a sister Lois Abbott (Bill, Sr).
Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Ltd., 329 N. Lewis Rd., Royersford. PA 19468. Burial will follow at Limerick Garden of Memories. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
