Ruth Ann (Gaugler) Wentzel, 85, of Mertztown, wife of the late Donald Wentzel, Sr., passed away Thursday May 15, 2025 at Laureldale Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Parker Ford, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Elsie (Dotterer) Gaugler.
Ruth was a phenomenal cook and baker. She enjoyed singing, yodeling, and playing the guitar and banjo.
Surviving is her son Donald Wentzel, Jr.; sister Mary Dunning; and brothers Robert Gaugler and William Gaugler.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC., 1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, PA 19525. Burial will follow at Limerick Garden of Memories. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
