Roger Nonnewitz, 91, husband of the late Linnea (Olsen) Nonnewitz, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at his home in Boyertown.
Born in Berlin, Germany, he was the son of the late Pauline (Horowitz) Nonnewitz and Franz Nonnewitz.
Roger proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. Family was most important to Roger. He always went above and beyond for anyone who needed him. Roger was a longtime welder professionally; but also enjoyed welding as a side hobby. He was a talented welder and in his spare time could be found creating metal sculptures at his house. Roger also loved to drive and enjoyed road trips with his family.
Surviving are his daughters Karen Nonnewitz; Joanne Cawley, wife of Kenneth; and Geraldine “Geri” Nonnewitz; grandchildren Christina Styer, wife of Eric; Michael Marston; Alison Brusehaber, wife of Mike; and Kyle Cawley; great grandchildren Nicholas Styer, Alexander Styer, Avery Brusehaber, Vernon Brusehaber, and Evynn Rae Marston. He is predeceased by his daughter Beverly Nonnewitz.
Services will be held privately by the family at this time.
