Barbara “Bobbie” Kuntz, 92

Barbara Kelly Kuntz, 92, a beloved mother, devout Catholic and faithful servant of the Lord, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2025 at her home in Elverson. She was the wife of Cmdr. Steve Kuntz, with whom she shared many devoted years of marriage.

Barbara grew up in Germantown PA and attended West Philadelphia Catholic High, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Helen (Corrigan) Kelly.

After many years in Hawaii and the start of retirement Barbara and Steve toured the United States by motorhome and then settled in Alabama where they started a new life.

Barbara was known for deep devotion to the Blessed Mother and her prayerful life centered on the Rosary. She lovingly crafted many rosaries by hand for others. She was courageous and intelligent, a sharp but playful wit that brought laughter and warmth to those around her. A lover of books and a seeker of truth, she constantly turned to the Lord for guidance and wisdom. She loved doing cross-stitch, jigsaw puzzles and travelling the world.

Surviving are her children Michelle Thomas Sensenig, wife of Fred; Tracey Bryant, wife of Motty; David Kuntz; Gerry Kuntz, husband of Martha Anne; and Eric Kuntz, husband of Mellissa; sister Sister Michael Eileen; sister Frances Thomas; brother Bill Kelly, husband of Barbara; grandchildren Kamakana Kuntz, husband of Tawny, Georgia Price, wife of Josh; Chase Kuntz, Peter Julian Kuntz, Loren Logsdon, husband of Cene and Rianna Stoll

A funeral mass will be held in PA on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 11:00AM at St. Thomas More Parish (2101 Pottstown Pike, Pottstown, PA 19465). A viewing will also be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the church.

The second mass will be held in AL on Friday, August 8, 2025 at 10:00AM at Saint Joseph’s Parish (12688 S Santa Piedro St, Lillian, AL 36549) A viewing will also be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the church.

Burial will be held by the family Friday August 8, 2025 at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL. Following the service in Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas More Church-Outreach in Barbara’s name.
