Eileen English, 82, of Gilbertsville passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025, at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Marianna, PA on February 21, 1943 to the late Joseph and Helen (Goodwin) Barcosky.
Eileen was a 1961 graduate of Beth Center High School and was employed by Friends Boarding Home in Newtown, PA as a cook for several years.
In April of 1965 she married the love of her life, Ronald English, who survives her. Also surviving are sons Ronald J. and Greg W. (Danille) of Gilbertsville; grandsons Jacob and Justin English; brothers Joseph Barcosky (Ann) of Georgia, William Barcosky (Rose) of Virginia; sisters-in-law Marlene Ottena of Meadowlands, PA, and Candy Temas (John) of Millsboro, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother Harry and his wife Mary Ann Barcosky and father and mother-in-law Floyd and Mildred English.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Gilbertsville at a later date.
