Gerard J. Bryce, 80

Gerard Joseph Bryce, 80, husband of the late Carolyn Judith (Kerth) Bryce, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Grandview Hospital.

Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late William and Frances (Kohn) Bryce.

Gerard proudly served in the United States Army. In his down time, he was an avid golfer and enjoyed photography as his hobbies. Gerard was also a proud member of the NRA. He was very passionate about his politics. Gerard also loved going on cruises, especially to Bermuda. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Surviving is his son William Bryce, husband of Cindy; daughter Rebecca Mann; daughter Christina Hui, wife of Kevin; grandchildren Dylan Bryce, Abbigail Mann, and Sean Hui.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 12:00PM at Catagnus Funeral Home (1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, PA 19525) with Pastor Eugene Zaiser officiating. Burial will be held privately by the family at this time. A visitation will also be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 10:30AM-12:00PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MPN Research Foundation (https://mpnresearchfoundation.org/) in Gerard’s name.

I had the pleasure of knowing Jerry for 40 years. I’m his barber. That tells you what kind of man he was. Committed, loyal more than just a client a true friend. I will miss him. My deepest condolences to his family.
