Add My Condolences

So sorry to hear about Tony's passing. We were long lost cousins lol but became reunited as friends on Facebook. We chatted almost daily. I hadn't heard from him in awhile and messaged him on Thursday. He usually responds immediately and he did not this time. We both went to Monsignor Bonner as did pretty much my whole family. We talked often about cars and we both had a love of older cars. Knowing that I had a 2008 corvette Tony would send me pictures almost everyday of older cars but mostly Corvette's. He would keep sending them until I finally approved of a certain model and color. It was almost like a game we played lol. I hadn't seen Tony since we were kids and my older brother dragged me out to see my cousin play a football game. Little did I know ( I was only 12) that I was about to see one of the most prolific runners in Bonner football history. They won the championship 56-0 and of course, Tony's name was constantly blared over the loud speaker. We talked about that game often. My daughter Anne Marie who is assistant vice principal at Bonner-prendie texted me today because she got a call from the family saying Tony had passed. I think it might have been Michelle: I asked her for a phone number but she said she would try to find it. I ended up finding a relative on Tony's facebook page and tracked down a cousin. I think it was Joe Zitarelli. He called back, which i appreciated to fill me in. I'm sorry sorry for the families loss and I will really miss our facebook friendship. You have my condolences as well as my families and the whole Bonner high school community. He was a Bonner legend and will be missed🙏 John Dolceamore class of 67 Bonner high school.
