Susan (Sutter) Wolbert, 64, of Pottstown, wife of Kevin Lee Wolbert, passed away Wednesday November 12, 2025 at the Pottstown Hospital.
Born in Piscataway, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Marjorie (Hayon) Sutter.
Susan was employed by the Pottsgrove School District at Ringing Rocks Elementary School for 24 years as an intervention tutor for reading for kindergarten, first and second grade.
Susan helped with Project Purpose, a ministry that helps mentor and tutor children, by assisting with providing meals for the children. She served with Stephen Ministries and Celebrate Recovery, to assist and pray for those going thru difficult times with New Ridge Fellowship. Susan volunteered as a helper in the kitchen at Camp Sankanac. Susan served at Berean Bible Church with the children’s ministry as a helper and teacher. She also helped with the food pantry at Berean Bible Church. She was involved in Pottsgrove High School athletics as a volunteer for cross county, track and field and football meets. Susan was also involved with Ringing Rocks Elementary after school programs and helped with their game club and tutored programs. Susan also served with the (FMSC) Feed My Starving Children ministry for the Pottstown mobile food pack.
Surviving along with her husband is her son Jonathan Wolbert; sister Ruthie Brookman; and brothers David Sutter husband of Susan, Daniel Sutter husband of Donna, and John Sutter.
A celebration of life service will be held at Berean Bible Church on November 22nd. Visitation from 9:30 am – 11:00 am. service from 11 am – 12 noon.
