Debra Miller, 66

Debbie Miller, 66, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20,2025, in Pottstown.

Born Debra Jane Speece in Roxborough, Philadelphia to Edmund and Elizabeth Speece, she was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Her presence, kindness & understanding will forever be deeply missed.

Debra attended Hallehan catholic girl school & was one of the manywho got swept up by Beatlemania. She graduated with honors & went on to work in the medical field for 40+ years. Debbie was a warm & friendly smiling face to all she encountered in life, making friends & acquaintances with everyone who chose to walk beside her. Always making it known that she was "A Philly Girl" at heart, Debbie proudly bled Eagles green through thick & thin up until the end.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund and Elizabeth; her brother, Eddie; and her late husband, David Miller. She leaves behind a family who loves her. Her pride, her passion, her reason for breathing, her sons, Jimmy Seeds, husband to Allison and father to Jakob and Brody, and Bryan Seeds, husband to Judy and father to Nathan and Rubi; as well as her brother, Rob Speece, her niece Angel LaRusso, wife of Matt LaRusso & mother to MJ LaRusso.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you put your kindness out into the world that Debbie believed existed in all of us.

Fly Eagles Fly, forever.

Add My Condolences

I wanted to write something elaborate because I knew Debbie Miller since I was in the first grade. But nothing I could type would capture how I feel about Debbie Miller. She was my 2nd Mom. I'm going to miss the hell out of her like everyone else. All the other memories I wanted to share I'm not going to; they are memories that will keep on living anytime I talk with Jimmy and Bryan. Love you Debbie. Gonna miss you until I see you again.

I am so heartbroken to hear of Debbie’s passing. I had the privilege of working with her at the PHX outpatient clinic, where she was truly a bright light. She greeted every patient and staff member with warmth, kindness, and a smile that could lift anyone’s day. I even had the joy of seeing her at Rothman shortly before she retired, and she was still the same thoughtful, joyful person I always remembered.

Debbie often spoke lovingly about her grandchildren, and it was clear how much her family meant to her.

She was a wonderful human being, and her loss will be felt by so many. My deepest condolences to her family. May her memory be a blessing.

I worked with Debbie for 12 years and she was always uplifting, kind, and ready with an encouraging word if needed. She always had a smile on her face especially when she talked about her family and the Eagles🦅. The world will MISS this truly amazing woman.
