Patricia (Pat) Borneman Moyer, 85, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025.
Born September 20, 1940 to Raymond and Edith Borneman, she graduated from Springford High School and completed her training at Bryn Mawr to become a registered nurse.
Patricia reunited with her high school sweetheart, Lowell F. Moyer, and they were married in 1963. He somehow managed to charm, trick, and/or cajole her into moving to Castañer, Puerto Rico in 1965, where she worked at the Hospital General Castañer, founded by the Brethren Services Committee. The couple returned to Pennsylvania in 1969 with their son, and Patricia began her 35 year career as an ICU nurse at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.
Patricia loved to sing and participated in her church choir, the Christmas choir at Central Schwenkfelter, and the summer choir at the Ocean Grove tabernacle. She was an avid reader and a skilled sewer; sewing beautiful wedding dresses for her daughters. She loved animals and graciously accepted the various weird and wonderful pets her family dragged home.
Patricia is missed by her children, Matthew Moyer (Susan), Crista Nimmerichter (Chip), Jill Moyer (John Bachetti); grandchildren Josh (Rachael), Coyote, Cayden; great grandchildren Bryce, Josh, Jr., Kenley, Maverick; and sister, Sandy Carl.
Patricia was preceded in death by husband Lowell, and grandson Kian.
A memorial service will be held at Providence Church of the Brethren, (1202 S. Township Line Rd, Royersford, PA, 19468), on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.
