Add My Condolences

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Jim had one of the biggest hearts and accepted me for who I was and not for what I wore or the music I listened to. He reminded me of myself and that's why I enjoyed hanging out with him. Rest in peace brother. ❤️

Do my dear friend and brother I miss our conversation about the fowl and life. The laughs and the jokes still play out like it was just yesterday. Although I will continue to keep oriental fowl in your memory, it will not take the place of your presence. I hope you've found peace and serenity with our Lord and one day we will sit and talk again just as we did before.

I am very sad to hear of Jim's passing. He was a dear colleague, fellow poultry fancier, and a friendly face for many, many budding young & old poultry enthusiasts. I'll never forget him taking kids "under his wing", sitting down low on a bucket or bale with their birds to show them how to clip nails and beaks and telling them how to make them shine for shows. His love for his birds really showed. He positively glowed when his flock of frizzly white Sebastopol geese came floating over the grass towards us at his farm. My sympathies for Amy and Jessica! From the first time we met at Zern’s , you working at the pet shop before the Animal Auction & myself at Zimmer’s pets, I felt you were my brother. Your character as a person was second to none as you inspired others to be better people. This trait alone made you a friend and loved by EVERYONE. Our sincerest condolences to your family and fellow friends. With so many memories of growing up together and the adventures we had , you will never be forgotten ! May your living spirit be at peace and soon enough we’ll “ See You On The Other Side “.

You were One of many brothers growing up with us all going to shows together or spending weeks on end and weekends living with us
At moms or at our sisters apartment. We always had a good time together. I can’t recall a time we never laughed and it was Always the best of times! You were the kind of guy everyone took a liking to. My son looked to you like an uncle. He always asked if Jim was gonna be a one of Tom BBQ’s or boils. You will be missed but not forgotten. I will do a shot for you the next time we all get together my brother! Love you and rest easy my friend!
