Benny was a good friend to everyone he ever came across, his kindness and smile would light up a room; I was a classmate of Benny's and still remember his smile even after all these years; Benny was one of a kind. Condolences to his family.

To the Eckroth family, so sorry for your loss. I met Benny in grade school when we played football together on the M&M Rams. Then in middle and junior high school, we were on the wrestling team together, and finally we graduated together with the Class of 78. After going our separate ways post-graduation, we still occasionally would meet at different places and events. Every time, Ben had a big smile, a firm handshake and a quick walk down memory lane about things in our youth and adult lives. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please accept my deepest condolences and I pray the Peace of our Lord fills your hearts at this time.

I was a classmate of Ben and had his father as a math teacher in Elementary School. Ben was one of the good guys! I am a member of Shenkel UCC where Ben did some work at our pavilion, and he had such a great reputation for his good work. Dearest Terry and family. There are no words to express our sadness at the loss of precious Ben. He was a wonderful neighbor who took good care of Tom and I especially when it snowed. We loved his friendship, his smile, his laugh, and everything about him especially his huge heart to help you no matter what it was. Due to Tom’s health right now he could not endure the travel since he is on oxygen 24/7 and dealing with severe pain in his shoulders. All our love Cindy &Tom

I wish to extend my condolences to the family of Ben Eckroth. I am so sorry for your loss. Ben was a solid good guy that I had the privilege of seeing and talking to countless times in my nearly 22 years at A.D. Moyer in Pottstown. He was always friendly and had a great sense of humor. It was fun being around him, and I would look forward to talking to him in the yard. Ben was a very talented contractor, and he will be sorely missed. We are so sad to hear of Ben’s passing. We always think of the great days of Pottstown Little League and other youth sports in Pottstown. Our boys had a great childhood friendship. Ben was always an encourager. I know that he will be missed by everyone. May God grant you comfort at this time knowing his was a life well lived.
