Laura (Wolbransky) Black, 94, of Douglassville, wife of the late William Black, passed away Friday January 23, 2026, at Providence Place at Collegeville.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Meyer and Rose (Goldhar) Wolbransky.
Laura loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a loving wife and mother who cherished her family. She worked as the handbag manager at Boscov’s East for 25 years. Laura also enjoyed attending her children’s and grandchildren’s activities and going to the beach. She loved walking hand in hand with her Bill.
Surviving are her daughters Leslie Encelewski, wife of Ted, and Robin Romig, wife of Gary; son Neal Black, husband of Ruth; grandchildren Melissa Vasta, wife of Jim, Ryan Haber, Erin Lipari, wife of John, Kelli Kopec, wife of Jason, Gary Romig III, Morgan Mihoci, wife of Ryan, and Jason Black, fiancée of Michala Cooney; step-grandson Alex Encelewski; and great grandchildren Kensie and Cameron Kopec and Lily Vasta, and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Ben, Anne, Ethel, Jeanette, Ruth, and Yetta.
Services will be held privately.
