Biagio M. “Beeper” Bono, husband of Cornelia C. (Curran) Bono, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Sanatoga Center.
Born in Norristown, he was the son of the late Bartholomew and Louise (Morello) Bono.
Biagio loved to play baseball and softball. In his adult life, he played in softball leagues up until the age of 60. He was a regular old “garage key”. In his earlier years, Biagio also worked as a basketball referee. In addition, Biagio and Cornelia played in local bocce leagues. Biagio was a long-time member of St. Teresa of Avila Church in Betzwood and then became a member of St. Teresa of Calcutta Church in Limerick. Biagio will be remembered as the life of the party wherever he went.
Biagio worked as a tool and die machinist at Philadelphia Gear in King of Prussia for 40 years.
Surviving along with his wife, Cornelia of 66 years, is his son Steven Bono, husband of Tina; daughter Leisha Reynolds, wife of Trey; daughter Courtney Tobinus, wife of John; and daughter Consuelo Bono, wife of Doug Hinkle; brother Joe Bono, of Reading; brother Gerry Bono, of Virginia; and sister Rose Graham, of Florida; grandchildren Christoph, Sophia, Rachael, Hannah, Curran, Carly, Chelsea, and Shane; great grandchildren Bryson, Leila, and Sloane. He is predeceased by his other brothers and sisters.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 12:00PM at St. Teresa of Calcutta (256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473) with Fr. Gibbons officiating. Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date. Visitation will also be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 11:00AM-12:00PM at the church.
