Marion “Sue” Blair, 89

Marion M. (McLaughlin) Blair, 89, wife of the late Harry C.J. Blair, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Keystone Villa in Douglassville, PA.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late James and Marion (Lewis) McLaughlin.

Sue worked as Harry’s legal secretary in their home office for over 20 years. Sue and Harry strived to be self-sufficient and spent many years farming, gardening and preserving food. Many of their life choices were inspired by the teachings of Edgar Cayce. Sue enjoyed fishing in their pond, painting, sewing, crocheting, reading, studying religions around the globe, astrology and later, woodworking. She even wrote and illustrated a children’s book. Cooking was a passion of Sue’s and she once won an Award from Hellman’s Mayonnaise for her signature pepper bread recipe. Sue did not like to stay still. Even while residing at Keystone Villa, she kept herself fit by walking throughout the day.

Surviving are her 4 daughters Debbie Korang, wife of David; Tina André, wife of Dave; Lisa Engle, wife of Larry; and Susan Sheldon, wife of Chris; sister Loretta McLaughlin; grandchildren Joseph, husband of Jessica, Charles, fiancé of Emma, Raymond, Sara, James, Jacqueline, wife of Frank, Jennifer, Bonnie, Richard, Taylor, Hanna, Miranda, Ida and Penny; great grandchildren Jade, Paige, Olivia, James, Casper, and Avery; great great grandchild Atticus; 2 nieces and a nephew; ; step-children Henry Blair, Diane Hornicek, Brian Blair and Janice Battista and 5 step-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her 4 brothers, 1 sister, and 1 grandson.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 11:00AM-12:00PM at Catagnus Funeral Home (711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464). A time of sharing remembrances will follow at 12:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a food bank charity of your choice in Sue’s name.
