Anirudh (Sam) (Sharma) Sawh, 80

Anirudh (Sam) (Sharma) Sawh, age 80, passed away peacefully at home on March 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Sam was born in San Fernando, Trinidad, the 1st son of Lio and Doris Sawh. He carried with him throughout his life a deep appreciation for family, playing cards, and enjoying ‘hot roti’.

He was the devoted husband of Rajdai (Dee) (Tootsie) (Darling) Sawh. Their life together was filled with love and laughter.

Sam was a caring father and proud grandfather. He is survived by his three daughters: Nadia Archer (husband Jacques Archer), Victoria Sawh (husband Sohail “Tom” Khaliq), and Dian Pierre (husband Willington “Will” Pierre).

He also leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren: Donny Archer (wife: Cesaré Archer), Christopher Gibson, Damian Archer, Sasha Pierre, Lauren Archer, Brandon Archer, and Dimitri Pierre, as well as one beloved great-grandchild, Aiden Archer.

Sam enjoyed spending time with his family and relaxing in his hammock, moments that reflected his calm spirit and appreciation for life’s quiet pleasures. He will be remembered for his warmth, high expectations for those he loved, and the lasting memories he created with family and friends.

Dearest Uncle Sharma, you meant so very much to us all. Old and young you always left a deep and last impression in all our lives. We will forever hold dear all the lessons you blessed us with over the years, be it a deep conversation at a dinner table, or one spoken to us just before a cheers and a drink. Our hearts will forever keep your memory strong. Love you forever and always 💛.

Uncle Sharma was the kind of person who didn't need to say much to make you feel completely at home. Whether it was a well-timed joke or that signature, quiet smile he always greeted us with. He had a gift for making everyone feel welcomed and seen. We will miss him deeply and carry his memory with us always. Rest in peace, Uncle. You are loved beyond words.

Your niece....

Rest in Peace uncle. May your soul rest and your memory be forever in our minds. You served so many in life and honored us with your presence, you were God's servant first, a son, a husband, a father, an uncle, g'pa, a great grandpa, a mentor. May generations remember you.
Look out, it's a big one (dunking me under a wave). Loved you lots in this lifetime
