Lawrence “Larry” A. Moyer, 87, longtime companion of Maryann Madson, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at Phoenixville Hospital.
Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Lawrence M. Moyer Jr. and Esther J. (Birard) Angstadt.
Larry was the owner and operator of Moyer’s Tax Services upon retiring from Firestone and Occidental as a Customer Service Manager. He enjoyed reading, playing cards, and playing computer games. Larry also enjoyed traveling with Maryann; often taking Klein Bus Trips over the years.
Surviving along with his companion, Maryann of 40 years, is his daughter Ann Louise Powell, wife of Donald Ray; daughter Catherine Schaeffer, partner of Donald; and daughter Michelle Youse, wife of the late Dean; grandchildren Tyler, Jesse, Ethan, and Amanda. He is predeceased by his brother James Moyer.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 11:00AM at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Pottstown. Chaplain Nicole Jackson will be officiating.
