Judith “Judie” M. (Cullingford) Cartwright, 84, wife of Paul T. Cartwright, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Pottstown Hospital.
Born in Abington, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Edna (Denner) Cullingford. Judie was a 1959 graduate of Norristown High School.
Judie was a deeply creative and artistic soul who found joy in painting a wide variety of subjects, bringing beauty and life to everything she created. She also loved crafting, always working with her hands to make something meaningful. In addition to her artistic talents, Judie was an excellent cook and baker, sharing her love through the meals and treats she prepared for family and friends. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose warmth, creativity, and care touched everyone who knew her.
Surviving along with her husband, Paul, are her children Michele Sheppard; Paul Cartwright Jr.; Andrea Olock, wife of Steven; Paula Martin, wife of James; and Thomas Cartwright, husband of Crystal; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 11:00AM at Catagnus Funeral Home (1020 E. Philadelphia Ave, Gilbertsville, PA 19525). Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. A visitation will also be held on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the funeral home.
