Phyllis Anthony, 90

Phyllis (Casale) Anthony, 90, of Pottstown, wife of the late Kenneth M. Anthony, passed away Wednesday April 29, 2026.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Genaro and Angelina (Piccolo) Casale.

Phyllis’ family was her greatest pride and joy. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, bowling, gardening, attending bible study, and spending time with friends and family. Phyllis was a devoted Christian and a long time member of St. Aloysius Parish in Pottstown.

Surviving is her daughter Helen M. Waldt wife of Dave; son Ken M. Anthony II husband of Grace; grandchildren Hannah, Darren, Julian, Sergio husband of Melinda, Ashley, Michael, and Sabrina; great grandchildren Jax, Madeleine, and Eliana; sisters Bella Bragalone, Maria Wahler, Tina Casale, and Catherine Eisner; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her grandson, Jason Waldt.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday May 8, 2026 at 11:30 AM at St. Aloysius Church, 223 Beech St., Pottstown, PA 19464. Burial will follow at St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Pottstown. Visitation will be held Friday from 10:00-11:15 AM at the church gathering center.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phyllis’ memory to St. Aloysius Church, 223 Beech St., Pottstown, PA 19464.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. She’ll be greatly missed and she was greatly loved. I remember her from back in junior high in high school and again in the most recent years very strong, beautiful caring person and remember you are a good daughter sending you love and hugs and lots of prayers. Phyllis was a dear friend of our family who we will miss abundantly. She was like a grandmother to our daughters and grandchildren. God called her home and she will have special place in heaven. Until we meet again!

Though I never had the pleasure of meeting Phyllis, I know her son, Ken, and he is an awesome person so I know his mom and dad must have been wonderful people. She and her husband left behind a legacy that would make them proud…. ♥️
