Thomas J. O'Neill, Sr., 81

Thomas J. O’Neill, Sr., 81, husband of Linda A. (Allard) O’Neill, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at his home in Pottstown.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John O’Neill and Barbara (Boyle) O’Neill.

Thomas proudly served in the United States Army 82nd Airborne. After his service time, he lived in Upper Darby for 20 years. He owned his own electrical contracting business and went on to become the Director of Engineering for Independence Communications and was a lifetime member of Upper Darby Fire Department Co. #1 Station 3 (37). Thomas was a longtime member of St. Columbkill Church in Boyertown.

Surviving along with his wife, Linda of 60 years, is his son Thomas J. O’Neill Jr., husband of Suzanne; son Michael A. O’Neill, Sr., husband of Jennifer; daughter Stacy Wolf, wife of Justin; grandchildren Jessica O’Neill, Jack O’Neill, Julianna O’Neill, Michael A. O’Neill Jr., Brynn O’Neill, Ryan Wolf, Kadyn O’Neill, and Emily Wolf; great grandchildren Jaylen O’Neill, Sasha Morales-O’Neill, Aliyana Harris, and Brayden Harris; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his daughter Lori Ann O’Neill and his nephew Ron.

A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 11:00AM at St. Columbkill Church (200 Indian Spring Rd, Boyertown, PA 19512) with Fr. Bob officiating. Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree in Thomas’ memory.

Dearest Aunt Lynn and Family, Uncle Tom will always remain near and dear to our hearts! We will always remember the wonderful memories as he was always a wonderful example of a very loving and caring uncle to myself and our whole family!
