Nancy Lou (Bitting) Ludwig, 95, of Boyertown, wife of the late Daniel Ernest Ludwig, passed away Sunday May 24, 2026 at her residence.
Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Daniel L. and Rose Ella (Griswold) Bitting.
Nancy was a talented seamstress. She was an extremely caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother.
Surviving is her children Penny L. Shupp wife of Donald, Garry L. Ludwig, and Debra A. Kolarz wife of Lonnie; grandchildren Teresa Tristan wife of George, Josie Mill wife of Matt, Rose Vaughn partner of Andrew Fournaris, Clint Kolarz husband of Amanda, and Jesse Kolarz husband of Alisa; great grandchildren Bryce DeBoard, Tyler Mace, Riley Kolarz, Tabitha Mill, Colby Kolarz, and Jacob Kolarz; and great-great grandchildren Jaxon and Lainey.
Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Sandra L. Ludwig and son Craig A. Ludwig.
Funeral services will be held Thursday June 4, 2026 at 7:00 PM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC., 1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, PA 19525. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6:00-7:00 at the funeral home. Burial will be held Friday June 5, 2026 at 10:30 AM at Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown.
